During your initial assessment, I take a head-to-toe approach because your pelvic floor never works alone. We’ll look at your overall mobility, posture, strength, breathing patterns, hips, core, and how everything moves (or doesn’t). If it's indicated and appropriate, and only with complete consent, we’ll also include an internal pelvic floor exam to understand how the muscles are coordinating, relaxing, and supporting you.
Expect gentle, guided movement tests, hands-on assessment, and clear explanations the entire time. Everything is consent-based, nothing is rushed, and you’ll always know what’s coming next. By the end, you’ll understand how your body is working as a whole, what’s driving your symptoms, and exactly how we’ll start improving things—right from the comfort of your home. We will discuss your plan at that time, to best reach your goals.
